french breakfastFrench Breakfast Radish

An elongated radish that grows 2-3 inches long with red tops and white tips.  Best planted in cooler weather but can be gown during summer if harvested immediately when mature as they have a tendency to get pithy when left too long.  I find their flavour is more rich than most other radishes and their colour is more unique as well.  With red and white they look great in salads or on a veggie platters with dip.  We find many chefs prefer this variety over the single colour round radishes.  They also happen to be an heirloom variety dating back to the 1880’s when they were first popularized in Paris.     100+ seeds per pack
